Popular Placenta Recipes

placenta pizzaSo you wanna eat your placenta and you’ve heard all the great benefits of doing so.  But you’re a bit confused on how to go about eating your placenta or much less preparing your placenta for consumption.

So I did you a favor…. You’re welcome.

I’ve listed  some favorite placenta recipes that have come up time and again in my research for placenta recipes.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta Lasagne


1 fresh, ground, or minced placenta, prepared as above
2 tblspns olive oil
2 sliced cloves garlic
1/2 tspn oregano
1/2 diced onion
2 tablespoon tomato paste, or 1 whole tomato

Directions:   In 2 tablespoon of olive oil, quickly sauté all the ingredients.  Use your favorite  lasagne  recipe and substitute this mixture for one layer of cheese.

Placenta Pizza 


2 tablespoon of olive oil
4 garlic cloves
1/4 tsp. fennel
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tablespoon oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 cup wine.

Directions:  Grind up the placenta. Saute all ingredients in sauce pan. Allow to stand for 30 minutes, then use as topping with your favorite home made pizza recipe.

Placenta Spaghetti: 


3/4 Placenta meat
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large can tomato puree
2 cans crushed pear tomatoes
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of molasses
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon rosemary
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp honey
1 tsp. of oregano
1 tsp. of basil
1 tsp. of fennel

Directions:  Cut 3/4 placenta meat into bite size pieces, then brown quickly in butter and oil combination. Once brown add in all other ingredients and let simmer for an hour and a half.
